Released in 2014 by Louisiana Folk Roots. Marcella was honored to be invited to be a guest vocalist on this beautiful Creole lullaby with my father Terrance Simien. We were both so happy to donate this track to this compilation. This album is played at Lafayette General Hospital in the Maternity Ward. Marcella was born at Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, LA. So this project was special for her to be a part of. Released in 2012 and commissioned by Bayou Teche Brewing, En Francais Vol. 2 has popular Rock and Roll tunes covered by some of the best Cajun and Zydeco bands in Louisiana, all with the educational goal to help people learn Cajun and Creole French through tunes they love. Big thanks to Louis Michot (of the Lost Bayou Ramblers) for including Marcella and Terrance in curating this compilation of artists. Marcella and Terrance covered the Beatles song "In My Life" in Creole French "Dans Ma Vie." Other featured artists include Geno Delafose, Beausoleil, Al Berard and many more!
